My book!!

Look at what I get to tell you about today! =) That's right. You can now pre-order my book, "The Science of the Good Samaritan: Thinking Bigger about Loving our Neighbors"!!

To say that I'm over-the-moon excited and nervous would be an understatement. But, I'm thrilled to share these chapters with you. We'll talk about loving our neighbors by tackling issues like historical injustices, systemic racism, structural violence, health equity, faith and church (the good and bad), and silly stories from my growing up years (with fun pictures of those interspersed). You'll also hear about my personal experience of threats, church, and my health during the pandemic which I think many of you will identify with. It's also not just a 'faith' book and I'll share the great endorsements I've gotten from my friends of other faiths (or no faith) in the coming days. And, I guarantee it's not just a science book because who wants to memorize the Krebs cycle again. Although I will have fun epidemiology in there because epid-is-life.

It's a friendly-neighbor-book and I've had the time of my life writing it and I'd be honored if I could share a little of that with you all. And hopefully I make you laugh along the way with too many references to nachos, Beyonce, and Anne of Green Gables. =)
