I’m so excited to share that we have released a free study guide for my book!
Click on this link and then scroll down a bit until you see “Download Study Guide.”
I hope you enjoy the book as much I loved writing it for you all, and I’m simply thrilled many of you want to do this with a group, a few friends, or even yourself and a journal.
The study guide has a few suggestions of how I would structure the book club into 6, 8, or 12 weeks based on similar chapter themes. Of course, you are free to mix and match as you see fit too!
Each week, I’ve included several questions for you to pick from to help guide your conversation. Feel free to pick and choose the ones that are most applicable to your group or go through them all if you have time!
If you are doing this in a Christian faith setting, I’ve also provided some Bible scripture references to reflect on and discuss at the end of each week. If these do not apply to your group, feel free to simply skip.
A special note for those of you observing Lent: I’ve had several people say they are going through this book for Lent with their Sunday school groups or congregations. If you’re looking for a resource during Lent, this study guide might help guide conversations towards solidarity with our neighbors in need, centering on how Jesus did in the Gospels, and courage to look forward towards what Easter means.
Thanks again for reading and I hope you enjoy!
-Emily
PS: If you get a chance, will you let me know if you’re doing this as a group? You can respond to this email and I’ll see it. I’d love to hear who’s going through the book together!
