Not related to this article, but would you be willing to post a "response" of sorts to Dr. Katelyn Jetelina "Your Local Epidemioligist"'s pro-abortion post on FB? She says she's arguing from science why abortion be kept "safe, legal, and rare" in light of the recent ruling in Texas. I'd appreciate a rebuttal of sorts to share in light of her misguided post.
Could you please comment on the possible timing of vaccinations for children under 12? Since even vaccinated teachers can spread Delta, I am fearful for my 11 year old.
I've seen/heard late September as the earliest, and more likely to be by November, so personally I'm hoping for October, but trying to be emotionally prepared for "by Thanksgiving". I have twin first graders. We had been hoping for vaccines for their 7th birthdays this weekend, which they had deemed would be the "best and worst presents ever", but alas, we will keep waiting. They ARE coming, and we want them done right/well. In the meantime my little dudes are wearing kf94's, the other 3 in our household (and everyone else eligible within our small family and social circle) are fully vaccinated, my teacher husband and 7th grader are wearing kf94's or filters at school (and we are in Washington where masking in schools is mandatory and being well managed in the schools my family is in). We are so close, yet it feels so far away.
