Thank you for expressing what so many are feeling. My husband and I feel like exiles right now. While our pastor is careful to point out the Biblical case for “neighboring” , I’d say most of our church is elated at last night’s results and believes it’s God-ordained. I think it will take Christians from younger generations and from “other” ethnicities to repair our witness to the country and the world.

Thank you, Emily, for everything you do to keep us informed.

I don’t understand how anyone who claims to be a Christian could have voted for this man.

How will we ever counter the information coming from the White House if RFK Jr. is given a position in the next administration?

Thank you, Emily. I needed this today. I feel like I am bumping into walls when I walk because I am a bit in the fog today.

Found this poem years ago. The Weaver. My life is but a weaving between the Lord and me. I know not the colors, He weaveth steadily. At times He weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride forget He sees the upper, and I the under side. Not til the loom is silent and the shuttle ceases to fly, shall He unveil the canvas and reveal the reason why the dark threads were as needful in the weaver’s skillful hands, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern that He planned. Author unknown

While I voted for public health, respect and kindness I truly believe consequences will enlighten people far more than words. Being kind and a good neighbor is always respected.

Thank you Emily. My heart is heavy an broken. I wanted my 16 year old daughter to walk into her adult years in a nation very different than what she will (and setting a path for her brothers behind her). She is bold, she is courageous, she is loving (and so very loved), but wow doninhate this burden of hate and ugliness for her and her peers. I just don't even have words right now, so thank you for finding yours and sharing them 💔💙
